Mission Trips

Southminster has several opportunities for Mission Trips throughout the year.  One tripped is planned annually by the Outreach Ministry.  We have taken several trips to the East Coast helping those in need after Hurricane Floyd and those with substandard housing.  We have also made trips to help in the rebuilding efforts after Hurricane Katrina.

Every June, the Presbytery of Western Carolina offers mission opportunities such as  Puentes de Cristo (Bridges of Christ) in Reynosa, Mexico  in June and Partner Church Delegation to Guatemala in August.  The Youth of Southminster go on a mission trip annually in June.  Other opportunities are available throughout the year.
